Ballooning in Nepal
 Though
recently introduced in Nepal, sky soaring is taking on Nepal's
tourism in a very big way. With the opening of commercial
ballooning in Kathmandu and ultra-light glider service in
Pokhara, soaring is fast gaining popularity.
 In
a very back-to-basics style, and secure in a wicker basket,
one can glide silently over the colorful bustling cities
of Kathmandu and Pokhara, and enjoy the breathtaking views
of the valleys, hills, rural settings, and the Himalaya.
Hang-gliding in the Langtang region is quite popular, and
there have been balloon rides over the Everest also.
